{"id":23588,"date":"2024-07-09T08:57:45","date_gmt":"2024-07-09T08:57:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lluita.org\/ens-sumem-al-festival-vida-per-fer-arribar-el-nostre-coneixement-cientific-a-la-societat\/"},"modified":"2024-07-09T09:28:31","modified_gmt":"2024-07-09T09:28:31","slug":"ens-sumem-al-festival-vida-per-fer-arribar-el-nostre-coneixement-cientific-a-la-societat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lluita.org\/en\/ens-sumem-al-festival-vida-per-fer-arribar-el-nostre-coneixement-cientific-a-la-societat\/","title":{"rendered":"We join the VIDA festival to bring our scientific knowledge to society"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz JxVs2d ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Last weekend we were part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vidafestival.com\/en\/\">VIDA<\/a>, a music festival that is held annually in <strong>Vilanova i la Geltr\u00fa<\/strong>, and which becomes a combination of good music in an idyllic setting.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz JxVs2d ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Started in 2014, the festival has become one of the most prominent musical events in Catalonia. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz JxVs2d ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">From the <a href=\"https:\/\/lluita.org\/en\/?swcfpc=1\">Fundaci\u00f3 Lluita contra les Infecions<\/a> we were able to attend the Market area of \u200b\u200bthe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vidafestival.com\/en\/\">VIDA festival<\/a> with our own stand from where we disseminated our research projects.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz JxVs2d ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">At the same time, we encouraged the people who approached to participate in our &#8220;infectiometer&#8221; so that they were aware of their knowledge about Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs).<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz JxVs2d ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">All participants received a prize as a thank you for their collaboration.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz JxVs2d ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">We also had the opportunity to sell some of our charity products, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/botiga.lluita.org\/\">PRIDE collection<\/a>, which was a huge hit with the VIDA audience. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz JxVs2d ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">It was three days of music and scientific dissemination that allowed us to leave the Foundation and get closer to people to share our knowledge with them. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz JxVs2d ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Finally, we want to thank the festival for the opportunity to be part of this great musical event and all the people who visited us to offer us your support!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last weekend we were part of VIDA, a music festival that is held annually in Vilanova i la Geltr\u00fa, and which becomes a combination of good music in an idyllic setting.
