His involvement reinforces the Foundation\u2019s commitment to fighting infections and conducting research to guarantee safe and effective treatments for everyone.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>An integrated approach to safeguard progress achieved<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The WHO document proposes a coordinated, people-centred response that integrates specific and cross-cutting actions in five key areas: prevention and response, surveillance, research and innovation, laboratory capacity and governance. This new strategy aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals and WHO\u2019s global health strategies.<\/p>\n<p>The guidance emphasises the importance of ensuring access to high-quality, equitable and stigma-free services, promoting the responsible use of antimicrobials to preserve the effectiveness of current treatments.
