President of the Fight Infections Foundation. A medical doctor and specialist in Internal Medicine, he is also the director of the IrsiCaixa AIDS Research Institute, which he founded in 1995. An internationally recognized leader in HIV and infectious disease research, he has devoted much of his career to both scientific research and the clinical care of patients affected by these conditions. He has authored more than 1,000 scientific publications and has received distinctions including the Josep Trueta Medal for Health Merit and the National Research Award.

Scientific Director of the Fight Infections Foundation. Head of Department at Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital and leader of the Microbial Genomics Group at IrsiCaixa. A medical doctor, he combines clinical practice with research in microbial genomics applied to infectious diseases. He is also an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

Head of the STI Unit at the Fight Infections Foundation. A family physician with more than fifteen years of clinical experience, she specializes in sexual health, HIV, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). She combines clinical care, research, and education, with a particular interest in community-based approaches, prevention, and the promotion of sexual health, especially among vulnerable populations.

Head of the HIV Research Program at the Fight Infections Foundation. She has been Head of the HIV Section at Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital since 1999. She holds a PhD in Medicine from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and leads research on HIV-related complications, chronic inflammation, and aging. She contributes to national and international clinical guidelines and serves as Professor and Coordinator of the Medicine Degree at the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC). She also co-directs the international workshop Comprehensive Management of Aging and HIV.

Head of the Research Program on Immunocompromised Patients at the Fight Infections Foundation. A physician with a PhD in Medicine and a specialist in Internal Medicine, she combines clinical practice with research and teaching. She has contributed to the development of innovative outpatient follow-up and home hospitalization models for patients receiving antibiotic treatment. She is a Full Professor of Medicine at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).

Head of the Emerging Viral Respiratory Infections Research Line. Director of the Long COVID Program at the Foundation and Germans Trias Hospital. A medical doctor, she leads clinical and translational research on Long COVID and other post-infectious syndromes. She coordinates a multidisciplinary team dedicated to advancing the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of these conditions, and actively participates in international scientific collaboration networks.

Head of the Research Program on Immunocompromised Patients at the Fight Infections Foundation. He is a specialist in Internal Medicine and holds a PhD from the University of Barcelona. After developing his professional career at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, he currently also practices at Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital. He is an expert in fungal infections and multidrug-resistant microorganisms and serves as a member of the Executive Board of the Spanish Medical Mycology Group of the Spanish Society of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology (SEIMC).

Head of the International Health and Neglected Diseases Research Program at the Fight Infections Foundation. She is Director of the International Health Programme of Metropolitana Nord, affiliated with the Clinical Directorate of Infectious Diseases, the Infectious Diseases Department of Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital, and its research foundation, the Fight Against Infections Foundation. A specialist in International Health and Tropical Medicine, she carries out her clinical and research activities at Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital. Her research focuses on imported infectious diseases, particularly schistosomiasis and tuberculosis. She combines clinical practice with university teaching and specialized training.
