In addition to helping us finance our projects, you can deduct up to 80% of your donations on your personal income tax return. How?
You can deduct 80% of the first €150 of your contribution.
Above €135, you can deduct 35%.
If you have been donating to the Foundation for more than 3 years, the exemption increases to 40%.
Imagine you make a €200 donation:
Of the first €150,
you get to deduct €120
Of the remaining €50, you get to deduct at least €17.50
In total, out of a €200 donation, you get back €137.50
