The Soc Recerca project is an initiative aimed at bringing scientific research closer to the public and promoting active participation in clinical studies and other research projects conducted by the Foundation.
Through an online platform, researchers and volunteers can collaborate in clinical trials, either by launching studies or signing up as participants. This model facilitates the connection between research and society, promoting more accessible and efficient participation in ongoing studies.
A clinical trial is a research study in which volunteers participate to test potential new treatments with the aim of determining their safety and effectiveness.
To take part in a clinical trial, certain requirements must be met. These vary depending on the study and may include key aspects such as medical diagnosis, age, the person’s health status, medical history, and past treatments received.
