ITSready is an innovative research project funded by La Marató de 3Cat that aims to make sexual healthcare more accessible and easier for young people in Catalonia.

With an inclusive and gender-sensitive approach, we work to remove barriers to STI testing, facilitate partner notification, and provide clear, reliable information through a chatbot—all with the goal of reducing stigma and empowering young people to make informed decisions about their sexual health.

Schisto Zero is a nationwide project that aims to improve awareness, early detection, and social and healthcare support for schistosomiasis among migrant populations in Spain, with a particular focus on women and children. It is a comprehensive intervention based on gender equality, cultural diversity, and universal accessibility.

We are leading innovative research to slow the progression of Alzheimer’s disease and cellular ageing through the use of lamivudine, an antiretroviral drug.

This project is being evaluated through a pilot clinical trial involving patients in the early stages of the disease to determine whether it can slow cognitive decline.

Led by the long covid Research Unit of the Fundació Lluita contra les Infeccions, in collaboration with the Research Group on Innovation, Health Economics and Digital Transformation (INEDIT) at the Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute and the Garraf Long covid Patients’ Association, this project will evaluate the effectiveness of a personalised digital tool designed to reduce symptoms such as fatigue and cognitive impairment, two of the most disabling consequences of Long COVID.
