The People in Red Solidarity Gala will be presented by Andreu Buenafuente with performances by Rozalén and La Fura dels Baus

After the success of the call and fundraising of the last edition, next Monday, May 6, the People in Red solidarity party organized by the Fight Against Infections Foundation returns. The event will take place at the National Museum of Art of Catalonia (MNAC), in Barcelona, an emblematic space of People in Red in recent editions.

The event, presented again by the comedian and presenter Andreu Buenafuente, will host the largest number of people invited to the last galas, since a total of 800 people from sponsoring companies, institutions, and personalities from the social, cultural and sports world of the country They will come together to confront infectious diseases. Buenafuente, together with the El Terrat (The Mediapro Studio), will be in charge of leading the show before dinner, which will feature collaborations from surprise musicians and comedians. Once the gala dinner is over, there will be a performance by the singer Rozalén, one of the main voices of the new author’s song and who has accumulated such relevant distinctions as four Gold records, two Platinum records, a Goya, the National Award for Current Music 2021 and three Latin Grammy nominations.

One of the novelties this year will be the collaboration of La Fura dels Baus, a Catalan theater company of international prestige that, during the aperitif, will direct a unique show that will feature the participation of 40 dancers from the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona.

Michelin-starred chef Nandu Jubany, along with the entire Jubany Events team, will once again take over the culinary direction of People in Red, offering attendees an exclusive gourmet experience full of spectacle. In addition, DJ Fede Sardà will liven up the evening well into the night with cocktails by the award-winning Manel Vehí. The set design, once again this year, will be directed by Toni Seguí.

The purpose of this solidarity event is to raise funds for the Fight Infections Foundation, which currently faces the main challenges posed by infectious diseases from six major areas of knowledge: HIV, covid-19, sexually transmitted infections, international health, infections in immunocompromised patients and serious bacterial infections.

To participate in the event, everyone present had to register at www.peopleinred.com and donate to the Fight Infections Foundation.
